No children were hurt during my 826 Chicago workshop, but I fear many were bored. Oh well. The wife says by my description (a few laughs here and there, and I got each one to open up and contribute to the discussion) I did pretty well for a first-time teacher. I keep thinking of the part when I thought to myself, "Good God, what the hell am I saying?" and pondered running away.
